School Walking Path - Bozeman, MT

design: permeable, ADA-compliant walking path
length: 308 linear feet (616 sq ft)
slope: 5% grade

The area was excavated and leveled
The path area was excavated, leveled, and sloped at 5% grade. Geotextile fabric and 2" roadmix added and compacted for a sturdy sub-base layer
Steel edging installed with rebar for placement
TrueGrid permeable pavers laid, cut with a circular saw to match the curve, anchored (anchoring recommended if 5% grade or higher)
Pea gravel brought in and spread to fill the TrueGrid
Gravel spread, then compacted with a plate compactor
The finished path with hydroseed to complement

Gravel filled to the top of TrueGrid, but not overfilled, to ensure ADA-compliance, low maintenance, and easy snow removal
